LCIRT offers a variety of professional development (PD) training offerings to schools, 公司, 和 government organizations centered on how faculty 和 staff can 支持 neurodivergent learners, 包括那些有学习障碍的人, 注意力缺陷多动症, 和/或自闭症. PD Facilitators are needed to provide PD presentations in service of LCIRT to meet client needs in the event other LCIRT staff are unable to due to scheduling conflicts. The PD Facilitator is responsible for the planning 和 development of PD presentations (primarily using existing LCIRT materials) in coordination with the Assistant Director for 专业发展. Materials 和 delivery will be in accordance with contractual obligations, 根据LCIRT/具有里程碑意义的大学与客户的协议. This includes working with LCIRT staff to clarify client needs ahead of time 和 evaluating the effectiveness of the PD session(s).

Delivery of presentations should be done in a manner that maximizes effectiveness 和 utilization of resources 和 maintains the College’s reputation for excellence in the field of 教育. Delivery of trainings may occur in face-to-face settings or via eLearning 和/or video conferencing platforms (although it is expected the need will most often 支持 on-site trainings). 资格:

  • Requires a master’s degree, or higher, in 教育, 心理学, or related field. Extensive background knowledge of 神经的多样性 和 neurodivergence, 包括学习障碍(例如.g.(阅读障碍)、自闭症和多动症.
  • Expertise in effective instructional 实践 for 支持ing neurodivergent students at the secondary 和 post-secondary levels, 最引人注目的是教学和团队的通用设计.

  • Ability 和 willingness to travel (包括 outside of typical business hours) is critical; a flexible schedule is desired.

补偿:
The stipend for this position is dependent on presentation 和 travel length; the stipend for a day trip is $1000, 一夜旅行是1美元,500, 三天的旅行是2美元,000. 行程长度定义为:
